Professor Adam Fox OBE is a leading specialist in Paediatric Allergy. He studied Medicine and Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge and completed his clinical training at University College London. In 2006, he became a founding consultant of the allergy service at St Thomas’ Hospital, which has since grown into one of Europe’s largest specialist allergy services. He is Professor of Paediatric Allergy at King’s College London and Founding Director of the KCL Allergy Academy.
Adam has held numerous senior leadership roles in allergy care, including nine years as Clinical Lead for Adult and Paediatric Allergy at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. He became the first paediatrician elected President of the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology (BSACI), serving from 2018 to 2021, and is now Chair of the National Allergy Strategy Group. He has contributed extensively to national and international clinical guidelines, including work with NICE, the Department of Health & Social Care and the MHRA.
An internationally recognised clinician, researcher and educator, Adam has published more than 100 research articles and received numerous awards for his contribution to allergy care. He regularly contributes to television programmes including ITV’s This Morning and BBC Morning Live. In 2021, he co-founded The Allergy Centre of Excellence, which opened dedicated premises in London’s Harley Street Medical District in 2025. In June 2025, Professor Fox was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Paediatric Allergy.
